Stupid question, but I’m curious about the bowls feedback: There are two positions at Adobe I’m extremely interested in, but they’re for University graduates and MBA students. Would Adobe, or any other company, consider a student who doesn’t fit that criteria? Or is that an automatic disqualification? I graduated 2020 if that matters
1) it’s a bit low
2) MBA tiers are 3 and 7
Correction: MBA tiers are 2, 3, and 7
That offer seems pretty spot on. Point of comparison: my spouse got TC of $250K-310K (wide bonus range) as a Director hire after 6 yrs in IB, T3 MBA.
(Pretty LCOL city, though)
That's pretty good, on par with some possible FAANG exits, though you could do up to 15% a bit better with some other FAANG exits, but only in SF/NYC. I'd probably take it.
Thanks! I think the delta in COL between where I live now and nyc/sf would be way more than 15%.
I think that’s fairly high end of the range for that type of role in industry. What vertical?
Doesn’t sound like a low ball to me. SM in F100 strategy here and my TC is 200.
I’m at 7 YOE at a T2 and negotiating a strategy role for 300
Man. 300k with 7 YOE? Where?? Is it a HCOL city?
OP - if you are a principal at MBB, your TC should be higher than $300K. Just based on that, this would seem low to me. Am I missing something?
Still doesn't compute OP. Are you saying you would take a roughly $50K cut to take this job? Because the average principal at MBB should be pulling in $350k+ TC. If the role is looking to recruit consulting principals, that should be the bar. $300K seems to be more targeted at our tenured managers right before principal
I’m a director and I make a little less then that. FT200
