Hello, I have 4 years of experience between Financial decision support and pricing. However, I feel like my experience is too narrowed to how my current company operates. I am looking to pivot into consulting at one of the big4 ( for ~2-3 years)or any other consulting firm to have a well rounded experience that could be applicable to any industry. Founders are Ivy leaguers, ~100 full time employees, you’re not in loveee with the role, product is something you do see some potential in being disruptive in the industry. Catch is, they switched the role on you that initially you applied for, new role is lower comp, lower equity (4 year vesting with 1 year cliff), likely less stress though. Base is a ~20% cut from your current base. Do you take the role? Discuss!
