I’ve been in my position with the Federal Government for over six years. I have never received a grade increase for the time that I was there, yet all of my reviews have been favorable down to me being able to receive monetary bonuses. Just recently I asked my supervisor why I haven’t I received a grade increase, she said my title doesn’t call for one. Any suggestions on how I should handle this matter? Thanks.

I joined Accenture on 8th December. Got laptop on 15th December. I am facing issues with the credentials and that's why unable to set up the laptop. Also the laptop i received isn't formatted. Someone's account is already there. Tried calling on Accenture support numbers but not a single number is valid. Tried calling relationship manager but she isn't answering the call. Dropped several mails but got no reply.
Is this normal in Accenture. Also will i get December salary? Can anyone help me here

I am currently working with Cognizant having 2.5 year of exp into HR with package 5.7 LPA. Within a year of time, I got another offer of 12 LPA but its from small company. Should I take offer or should I wait and stay with Cognizant at least a year and go for MNC or big companies only. Unable to decide.... Plz suggest something.

Need some advice, please tell me what you would do / what you recommend I do. Have an offer that is a 50% pay increase from my current role. I’ve only been at my current firm for 10 months and was in my previous role 11 months. The jumps are easily explainable and this new role is as close to my “dream” role as it’ll get. I have also decided to study for some entrance exam and need to set aside 4 hours daily (fixed time) so planning on switching again to a pune based company(Need to get this done by end of next month).

Cognizant put my candidature on hold after both rounds of interviews and HR ended up telling me that it’s coz of my current CTC. They will interview more candidates and accordingly get back to me . As of now, my candidature is “on hold”.

Our 5 month old started daycare about 5 weeks ago. We’ve already had to keep her home for 2.5 of those 5 weeks due to catching various illnesses (croup, rsv, brinchiolitis, etc). Both my wife and I have been sick most of that time as well (gotten it from the baby). Wife is thinking we get a full time nanny for the next 4 months to help the baby build antibodies. Cost aside, is this feasible / worthwhile to go thru the effort / finding the right fit, only for 4 months?
