For laterals who move shortly after the turn of the billing year (i.e., will have worked 9-10 months before first review/bonus cycle), how does your firm treat the bonus that first year? Do you get a prorated hours expectation and then either full or prorated bonus if you hit your target? Does your firm require laterals to nonetheless hit the full annual billable requirement (a years worth of hours in 9-10 months) in order to qualify for a bonus? Looking for anecdata.
