The Five Dysfunctions of a Team was the very first management book I read, and it was a game changer for me. Most of my other leadership development came from good managers and seminars, but that book laid the ground work.

I first read it nearly 10 years ago and for an early 20’s manager the main lesson I took (and that stuck with me) is that great individual performance doesn’t equal a good team player, and shouldn’t be protected. Also, address issues quickly.
I’m on an agile transformation project and I am currently reading Coaching Agile Teams by Lyssa Adkins. It’s pretty concise and would help with this. I would also read “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie
I’ll take a look!
How to win friends & influence people is timeless (though obviously dated in some respects). It was one of the first career type books I read out of college, definitely had an impact on my career style
