Just joined S&C from 8 YOE in industry. Joined as M1, but was also a manager in former industry role. How soon is reasonable to be thinking about promotion Senior Manager? What kind of salary increase comes with this promotion?

Also, I negotiated current salary when the offer came 5 months ago now, not taking into account high increases in inflation. Do salaries get adjusted for inflation? And if so, when?

I am starting out to learn data analytics, can anyone share what all resources(youtube channels, books, udemy/Coursera course etc...) did you like while you were preparing?

I want to exit to MBB but if that’s not a possibility what are the next best consulting firms? Looking for at least midsize firms (non-boutiques).

So I’ve been studying for the AWS cloud practitioner certification for a month now and completed all cloud quest levels but still not feeling 100% confident. Has anyone tried the exam question dumps ? There are so many websites but not sure which one is the most reliable one as all of them you would have to purchase such as pass-guaranteed, certwizard, etc.. any recommendations is greatly appreciated

I have been offered a position at a non-US B4 with a 2 year path to partner. I know one of the partners at the local firm and have the support of the regional service line lead, and am bringing a specialized skill set they are trying to open a new business around. I’m currently an HR specialist and trying to decide what I want my future to look like. I would like to step away from the transactional, administrative HR work. I’m fascinated by employee satisfaction and like the idea of helping to improve retention and leveraging metrics to improve toxic work environments (I’ve seen a fair share of dysfunction in my career). I’m thinking the Consultant route may be best for this. Any other thoughts of roles or titles that may align?

A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.

What are the best roles in big tech for someone with tech backround/software development experience ~1.5yoe with an MBA and consulting ~2.5yoe?
