Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

Put a small desk in the bedroom and have whomever needs to take a call go in there. If your calls overlap, alternate.
I’m in a studio. Sprung for a desk and office chair. Best decision I made in this pandemic. Your situation definitely sounds tough.

In a studio with my husband. We did buy two small desks and chairs. Some times if both of us are on calls and cant mute, I just drag my chair in the hallway and take the call. You’ll have to get desks and chairs and make yourselves comfortable. You’ll be home for a while
You’re sharing a studio? 😐
Just got back to NYC after quarantining in LA with my fiancé for 2 months in a studio. We’re in a 1BR here in NYC and it’s unreal how I feel like we have too much space! Taking calls at the same time was definitely difficult, we both had to remind each other to speak a bit faintly. I would def spring for some kind of office furniture though so you two can spend some time apart. We both had separate work areas (he had a nook and I’d set up some space on the couch behind him) and it worked for us.
Someone just take calls on the John. Better yet, just get a laptop stand and you’ve converted the bathroom to a workspace
