There are definitely some good strat director roles out there. Are you absolutely sure that you’re at the strat director level? Not trying to be difficult, but there have been occasions where people have pumped up their job title and we can see right through it.
You should chat to Caroline Colwell and Sally Neilson about the market.
Are you looking to continue in house or applying to agency roles? Is it hard to go back to agencies after in house?
I am assume you’re not currently in a role.
Have you tried freelancing? It’ll give you an opp to work with places and sometimes the potential to join. It also allows you to continue applying for roles.
How are you approaching it? And how many places have you applied to?
What has been the challenge in converting/landing the role?
