Yup, hours are similar (can flex higher or lower depending on client) but the benefits/comp are substantially better
Which group were you in at b4? Was the transition to mbb difficult?
Pro
makes working the hours a bit more worth it too if your raises / comp potential are higher
my 2-3 year progression if I stay is far better than my previous firm
Your question is too vague and has assumptions that you can bucket us like that.
For MBB yes now question.
T2 should be a separate topic area. Unlike MBBs, T2s are far more varied and not all comparably the same. If you came to a T2 and worked double hours but in useless projects that don't get you where you need to be or experience in a few years is it worth it? Example would you join Kearney to do supply chain consulting if that wasn't your passion?
TLDR: yes for MBB; depends for T2

I went B4 to boutique to here but hours are better here than they were at a B4. My comp is less than the boutique though so hopefully the branding will be worth it in the long run.
There is no hopefully. It is guaranteed have no fear. Even if you did bare minimum for McK the brand will lift you to heights for exit opps. Most people don't question the caliber or work experience of McK folks
