I did about 10 years ago. Had two kids then. No issues since and never really think of unexpected kid. No doubling up.
Wife did iud for a year after last kid so we were sure we were done. Had the vas and she’ll get that removed when ever, won’t be doubling done after
... All that said, the vasectomy pain was worth it for sure.
Had two boys, got the vasectomy and the wife got her tubes tied. As far as statistics go if she ever got pregnant I should also start playing the lottery. No worries here
The vasectomy is very easy. Lasers are used which sounds bad but I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Recovery was minimal
I got the snip about a year ago, wife got the IUD in (as much for hormonal reasons as BC) the summer after, and we never have sex just to be extra careful! (At least last one feels like it, anyway! 🤣
