Anyone use computer glasses to reduce eye strain? Do they work? Any recommendations?

Slightly apples to oranges, but I switched from contacts to prescription glasses with those “computer glasses” features included and have been very pleased. Much less eye strain and fewer headaches

My coworker says they work

I wear progressives. Took a while to get used to but love them now. Definitely less squinting and eye strain. Cost almost $1k though.

I'm an RN of 7 years, experience as a coordinator, on committees and do all the things. But now I just don't want to go to work anymore. I have anxiety every morning over nothing, just having to go perform my job. I could do my job in my sleep so I'm just lost and confused. My body is clearly sending me messages to leave. But where do I go? I think I need to step out of patient care.

Any WFM nurses out there? Better work-life balance??

Ok, I’m gonna say this. Schools should open. Now hear me out. My wife is a family doctor, she is working insane hours, she is treating covid patients, and there is a lot of days when she has to stay at the hospital without coming home. My neighbour works in a local grocery store, so he has been at work since the Day 1 of lockdown. So if you need medical help, or want to eat, it’s ok for those people to be at work, but their kids have to stay home? Cont’d >>

Hello! I'm a Manager II (Automation) in PwC and looking for exit opportunities on West Coast. What kind of roles should I target? I would like to go to a product company, rather than consulting.

Hi all- My SO is currently at a Big4 & was initially preparing for S&O roles at GCP but given the high number of ex MBB consultants hired, they believe its just more competition to get the offer & to eventually get promoted over time.

Instead, they have decided to pursue program manager or cloud consultant roles, which they feel might have a lower barrier to entry from an assessment standpoint. Not sure if the bowl agrees but would like to get your thoughts, thanks!
