For those who got their kids vaccinated with Pfizer are you doing both doses or just the first. Asking because am reading higher risks on the second dose with unclear benefits

Higher risk is relative. According to your link there are dozens of mild cases in how many millions of vaccinations? They didn’t say. And compared to what as the background rate? My kids are both too young to be vaccinated right now at 3 and 1 but we will get them vaccinated as soon as they are cleared.

Where are you reading that? Higher risks of what? Our kid got both doses of Pfizer.

Mine have had first dose but not second yet. Am weighing the option of stopping at one especially for my 12 year old

14 yr old son has had both. 11 yr old son will get both when he turns 12 in August unless there has been some update about only needing one.

My wife and I would like to retire at age 50 (or earlier). We’re in our early 30s. We’ve been maxing out 401ks and IRAs for years and started contributing 20k a year into a taxable account to start filling the gap since we can’t access 401k until 55. At what point should we be reducing 401k/IRAs and redirecting to the taxable account? Otherwise our income balloons late in life. Curious how others are managing this.

Another laid off case here. Anyone moving out of US considered keeping the 401K as is instead of withdrawing? Any pros / cons to keep in mind ? Pro I see is no penalty and the fact that it'll continue to grow till I turn 65. Con is that it's a decent size amount in my case and I might need some if that cash if I don't get a job soon 🙄

I recently got a new job that now exceeds the $129,000 limit to be qualified for roth IRA. The company confirmed they have traditional and roth 401k, but do not support any other backdoors. Is my best bet here then to roll over from Roth IRA into Roth 401k, or keep the IRA as is but not invest more? Goal right now is to save as much as I can and max out within 3y for marriage/kids (been already maxing out 401ks throughout career, and recently HSA until the new job, in which I will have an FSA)
