Is soho house worth the hype ?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Just to clarify, your theory is that you didn't get upgraded to first class because you aren't white?
I’d like to know what type of brown is OP. I have my thoughts, but would love to know.
Lmaoooo did you seriously post this?

OP - I am a brown man too and I had my share of discrimination in airport security and customer service but not with the upgrade process. I almost always get upgraded because of my Delta status. On the other hand, some Business Class attendants would talk to me like it was my first time flying business class and ignore to take my jacket etc etc. I am not talking about bad customer service but a clear difference in how they treat other people sitting in the same cabin vs. me. I developed thick skin and sometimes I do something about it (like sending them a compliant online etc.) but most times I learnt to ignore and move on.
I would think that IF race were somehow to be factored into an upgrade metric it would actually work more like an Affirmative Action type mandate to ensure a certain number of upgrades went to people who aren't white.
So you’re of the opinion that you are not being upgraded specifically due to your race?
Csnr believe firms are allowing people to travel right now wtf

Is Deloitte allowing travel ?
There’s an algorithm behind upgrades and sometimes you can’t see the reason why people are being upgraded ahead of you. They could be a non-rev traveler and traveling for a funeral in which case to get priority. They could be an FBI agent or air marshal. There’s just so much you don’t see don’t feel the need to jump to conclusions us and assume it’s a race thing. I mean I definitely hope it’s not a race thing.
