It's cataloging from the DOL.gov website. Legit. Pro tip--select the company, search, then filter by job and city.
Just to clarify...part of the H1-B process is proving that foreign workers are being paid a fair wage comparable to a domestic worker performs the same job (aka the company is not hiring a foreign worker because they are cheaper than an American worker). Therefore, any salary you see listed is at least 95% of the "prevailing wage" for the position. It's a good benchmark but remember that it only applies to base salary. Bonus and raise info is individual...so a base salary might be higher but the worker will be paid a smaller raise or bonus to even things out.
yeah but it doesn't list anything ... apparently no H1B employee in my city?
Bar from partner/principal and maybe senior manager/director the bonus argument doesn't matter. Thanks OP it's official I am transferring to B4. RSM partner makes 250k base and KPMG makes 475k base. That's too big of a jump for me to ignore.
Is this legit ?
👍
^Pay differences start lower down the ladder as well. I'm a S3 making close to $90. Mid Tier is at least $5k - $10k less.
^totally depends on location I guess supervisors (s3) in Chicago makes close to 90k and those higher rates make above 90k what city are you from?
Can't speak for other midtier firms tho
@P2 what city? I'm S1 and there's no way I'm on track for anything higher than ~80k as an S3
