Sacrificing himself to bring the UK herd immunity. True leadership.

So maybe this is a reach, but I’m gonna assume that he’s on a vent. If he is he might have a 50-80% chance of dying (based off of limited data that I’ll admit suffers from small sample size bias).

But if he dies, what will this do? A major world leader dying from this...

Stock markets plunged when John F Kennedy was assassinated.
2 days later it was fully testored.

I am actually very stressed about this right now. The thought of a world leader dying from this has me unsettled. I need to snap out of it I can't focus on anything but corona at the moment...

D8 - Totally agree. We’ve done the same. I’ve started doing some basic yoga in the morning and an hour of meditation in the evening. The last couple of days have been great.

Going back to work Jan 4 and my 3 month old won’t take a bottle. We’ve tried since she was 1.5 months and she just holds the bottle nipple in her mouth but she doesn’t suck.

For now, I’m ok with breastfeeding while working, but just in case with meetings and whatnot, it’d just be awesome if my husband could feed her.

Any advice? Is it possible to get baby on a feeding schedule that I could just put on my Google calendar as “pumping” time?

My anxiety has snowballed in the past month and I’m really struggling. If you think about that feeling of nervousness you feel when you’re about to walk into a job interview.. that’s how I feel all day every day. I’m suddenly nervous/anxious about EVERYTHING, even when I’m not thinking about anything. It’s to the point where last night I couldn’t fall asleep bc my heart wouldn’t stop racing in nervousness but there’s nothing I could/should have been nervous for. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello! I’m an LMSW in Michigan with 15 years experience in the field doing case management, supervision, and administrative roles. All of my experience has happened in the CMH or VA health system, so needless to say, I am feeling burned out. I have flirted many times with private practice therapy work, but never taken the plunge due to concern about healthcare benefits from my spouse. Is it worth it to make the change? Are we overthinking it?

Wow…covid is really over. I live in a rural area where we knew covid was happening but it never really impacted the community or daily life. However when I’d go into the city it was very very obvious there were huge life impacts and fear. I just went into the city for the first time in about 3 months and it’s like covid never happened. It makes me wonder how many other things that have drastically changed (like wfh and hand sanitizer) will go back to normal as people go back to normal.

I currently have 10% shares in a very small f&b group owns 2 restaurant outlets.

One of them have been hit with covid and we are suffering in sales. Our director somehow don’t believe in marketing and will not budge to allocate resources to hire a personnel. Our staff are underpaid so there are no incentives for them to go beyond their SOW.

What are some of the ways to drive more sales?

If we have to raise a small round to cover the next 6 months of OPEX - is it a feasible?

I have a question how can I go on moving forward to another job, with out feel sad if I leave things behind with this company eventhough I'll make two year only in September. How can I end it but not feeling sad.

My job just scheduled a large happy hour/meet and greet for June 2... are we really going to be able to gather like that so soon? Feel like that’s a bad idea.
