Ah so she's internal?
Yep internal role
Cool. I hear they have a good time. Well I can speak a little to culture. The firm is aiming moving towards a "younger" mentality. If she's at our 901 office she'll see our innovation center and then the floors above it. The innovation center screams Silicon Valley and wood accents. The floors above remind you of a classic management consultancy and marble accents. Come with the mentality that the firm wants people with the mentality to turn the latter into the former.
If you only want to pigeon hole yourself in the federal industry go for it. Your exit opps will be limited to being hired as a gov't employee. Their 401K match is solid but the firm is cheap otherwise. It is better to think about Booz like SAIC, CACI, BAE, Leidos, and other big govt contractors. Despite what they tell you, it's a lot of staff augmentation work. So if that's your thing, go for it
Oh and they'll fire you if you're on the bench for a month. Firm lost all claim to a decent reputation when the commercial side split in 2010.
