Full time Pharmacist at CVS for 1 year as of August, but am not receiving the 401k match since becoming eligible. I contribute 5% per paycheck, but have not received a match yet. Does CVS not match per paycheck? I read that it used to be quarterly, but that it had changed in 2018 to per paycheck.

Lately I've heard a lot of really negative and hurtful comments about patients who are picking up contraceptives, and about people who are pro-choice. I don't usually bring my political views to work, and now I feel like I honestly can't say anything without making work really uncomfortable for myself (I'm pro-choice). What should I do?

Today i was informed there is a national shortage of techs! Are any of your workplaces experiencing issues hiring pharmacy techs?

I am leaving retail pharmacy after 15 years. I am opening a 403b pharmacy for a FQHC. I don't believe that retail pharmacy will be able to sustain itself with patient costs skyrocketing. I think people will become enraged or indifferent enough to allow the federal government to take over healthcare. How many times do we see people getting free prescriptions via government coverage that drive better cars than we do?

Do you think it's better to work hard and wait for a promotion based on your skills or to actively ask for and pursue a promotion?

Do you think it is time to find another job when your PIC is a micro manager, never trained you when you got hired, expects you to know things no one ever told you about in the first place, texts and calls you in the morning with questions you don’t have an answer to (I work evening shift so I’m mostly sleep when he reaches out), assumes the worst about everything, plots against you anyway, lies all the time, they don’t even do their job, they leave their trash behind etc. gives me anxiety.
