Depends on why you took that gap. Without any context, it’s not a good idea in general.
A ton of reasons to do it. Travel. Volunteer.

Not a good idea because most firms have a sabbatical program anyway. Lock in the job as soon as you can

I wouldn't recommend it. It might sound a bit mean, but what do you need a gap year for at that age?
Your 20s will be when you have the most energy. Use it productively to work as hard as you can and build up as much capital, both monetary and intellectual, as possible. When you're 30 and 40 you can slow down to focus on more important things, like family. Compound interest is no joke. Start as early as possible
