Getting cold feet about getting to business school

Even with a ~100k scholarship I'm looking at spending ~$225k over 2 years. I'm currently making ~$150k TC but I absolutely hate my job and feel like I have no growth in my current position. I'm just afraid with the way the economy is going, recruiting is going to be brutal the next few years

Today someone quit and just straight up walked out of the office. Like something you'd see in a movie. My jaw is still open. You ever seen this happen?

I had final round interviews last week for the company I really want to work for. I have an offer from another company, which I communicated to the recruiter which expedited the interview to final rounds. I need to respond to the other company's offer letter soon. Should I follow up with the hiring recruiter for the company I want an offer from? Or just move on if I haven't heard back by end of this week?

Intiatially they told they are considering me for staff engineer role but after interview they are offering associate staff engineer. Is it worth to join?
