if you see mine, there’s a good chance i’m out with my husband and we’re doing boring stuff like errands or getting lunch after housework . he thinks i look better without the bra, i feel safe nipping with him around, and i love not having to wear one bc newsflash they’re mostly uncomfortable. i wish it was the norm. free the nipple!

I don’t want to show them but female clothing isnt created with the purpose of benefiting women as much it benefits men. Bras suck. Shirts are thin, loose, and uncomfortable. Hoodies aren’t even warm. Jackets don’t help at all and make it feel like we’ve gained pounds.

OP, I think you're projecting your insecurities onto others. All the other nip fear people too. You think people are paying attention because you're paying attention. Most people are oblivious to everything all the time.
I think people are more observant than you think. Especially in our field.
Female. I believe depending on the work wearing an appropriate bra to prevent something like that occurring is a must. It’s no different to me than coming into work with a belly shirt. Not something that would be appropriate in my industry and working with a client. Nothing wrong with you doing you outside of work but there’s a time and place for everything. Now is it done intentionally? I think anyone saying not considering that there’s a risk it could happen at work and therefore deciding not to wear a bra may be a sign of a lack of common sense. In terms of being able to tell if it is happening in my experience I usually go braless at home and can’t tell until I look in the mirror.

I think as the years go by it matters less and less. It was happening before Covid-19, but the pandemic really accelerated the idea that it’s not about dressing for the job that you want, but rather do you deliver on results. Some fields have hold outs, but they’re becoming the exception, not the rule.
And this whole thread made me realize that I am so unobservant that I am basically blind. I haven’t see any at my workplace.
You can actually buy fake stick on ones. Always ready n chilly.

I hate the padding in some of my workout clothes and bra so I just remove them because it’s such a hassle to keep fixing it. So I guess it’s intentional on my part. Honestly I don’t care if the ladies do it in purpose because I always wonder y the female nips are so sexualized when men show em all the time.

Sometimes it's just laziness, sometimes it's cuz I think it's hotter not to wear a bra. Definitely avoid em being visible at work though. Covid made me pretty anti-bra, they aren't comfy 🤷♀️
