How many points? Caribbean Marriott Cat 3 property, 5 nights. They have an issue with the boiler so no hot water and shower stops in between. Ice cold showers for 4 days in a row 🥶. Hotel phones don’t work because network is down and only local channels work on tv. Last night they had a huge leak in the lobby. They kept knocking stuff all night to fix it and then left a large floor fan running. I understand it’s tough reopening so don’t want to push, plus they upgraded our room at check in.

Booking flights for family on United and partner airline (Lufthansa). Should I put it on my chase sapphire preferred or United explorer card to maximize points? I’m not traveling with them if that matters..

The CPE courses that i pursued on june 30 got credited to next fiscal year

I raised a complaint to the us learner team and they reverted my credit points back to be compliant as of june 30th 2021

Today am shockingly getting an emAil that i am non compliant. In the system, my points have been again moved to next fiscal year

Please advice what to do. I have emailed them. But there is no phone number to seek help

Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it. I think the company is just trying to save money they overspent else where)

What should I do just over a week ago I was cutting a foam panel and I cut myself by accident it was bleeding a lot in the moment I grabbed a napkin to hold on my hand and then my coworker went to report to the manager. I went to the bathroom to rinse it off but then when I went into the break room I passed out in front of two of my coworkers and my manager. When I woke up on the floor, my coworker told me I was out for 3 mins. The manager was belittling the situation and threatening my position

So I dated a girl last year then things didn’t work out but we remained friends and kept in touch throughout the year (also meet up for coffee, beach day, etc) but nothing ever happened after we called it off. Now she moved to the city where I live and her parents came visiting her. She wanted them to meet me. She was really happy and she wanted to go out for lunch all together again. (Continue below)
