My husband and I want to buy a condo in Chicago in a year. We are close to having a down payment plus closing and emergency funds in a HYSA but are still a 8 months to a year away from buying. I feel like we are losing money by keeping it in cash but it is the safest option. Is that true?

How do I alleviate knee pain in my back knee while doing lunges? How often do you convert your after tax 401k contributions as part of the mega backdoor?

Capital one giving $450 bonus if you move $50,000 into the account. Question: they said only new money qualifies. I had moved some money from cap one to chase on may 3. Can i just move that money back to capital one and get a bonus? Or would it count as “old money” and disqualify me from bonus since im just transferring the funds back to capital one from chase?
