Glassdoor is showing a Median Base of 120K for an Associate at my company, and I make 92K. I would like to ask for a raise / Salary increase to match my current level during my year end review. Suggestions or guidance is appreciated.

Note to self: getting a promotion in Deloitte Digital will require growing a penis. Seeing female colleagues passed over for males that just recently joined the firm makes me sick.

Where do IT leaders hangout on the internet? I’ve been building a SaaS tool the last 6 months focused on making life easy for data analysts and scientist to find and understand data. Basically, an internal google search for data. I was able to raise funds and build a product and received positive initial feedback. I’m curious if anyone knows any spots to find data or analytics directors on forums? I’ve been using LinkedIn and Reddit to promote, but curious if I’m missing any obvious channels.

Do you get the feeling that there is a higher image promotion of women/minority people in Tech?I have seen way to many pictures from major tech companies that promote far more women/minorities than white males in their marketing materials.Wouldn't be better if we hired the best people no matter what the race/gender is?I know some companies are not publishing any gender/race stats but you cant't really demand a 50/50 ratio.Also there is no coincidence that most execs is some companies are British. So this goes both ways.

I had always felt that America was the best country to live in for freedom, career opportunities, and education. Now after witnessing what has been happening for the last few years, I’m deeply troubled by our leaders and their priorities and values, and I’m now seriously thinking of moving to Canada or Scandinavia to live and raise my children. Someone accidentally sent an email to the entire region. Not a single reply all "I don't think this was meant for me" response. This is the most proud I have ever been to work where i do.
