Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?
I got a call from DXC for senior Java developer position in Bucharest (Romania). They have mentioned a pay scale of 17k to 18k RON per month after tax cutting
If i got selected I am planning to move with my family.
Will there be any savings and what would be cost of living for a 3 member family there.

You left EY, why would you want to go back? You know everything that you need to know about EY and there was something about it that made you leave, so why not go and explore Deloitte?
That’s what draws me to Deloitte. At least with Deloitte I know there’s a much bigger practice
Which competency where you in at EY?
Please reach out to your prior EY coworkers and ask them if things are *healthy* in your old competency (ig. How many people have left in the past 3 months? What type of projects are in the pipeline?)
I’d say, salary wise EY may be the better choice but if it’s the type of work and the opportunities that drive you, Deloitte is the way to go.
Well I was at the top of the band at EY and I know Deloitte can match it
If the size of the cyber team matters that much then apply to Accenture
I would definitely go to Deloitte if you’re doing IAM, but that’s it. I would avoid them if you’re going there for their other cyber competencies, they actually aren’t that great compared to other firms. Their IAM is good though.
That’s actually not true. Nothing wrong with it - they’re a decent firm, but it seems like you’ve convinced yourself that you want to go to Deloitte either way, so I don’t think any body here is going to change your mind.
