"Paladar 511" for brunch one day. Went there randomly then strolled into the French quarter to walk it off. Good drinks and great food. They make giant English muffins in store and serve a perfect breakfast sandwich on it. Lots of other options too

Music at Jackson Square
Banana Foster Pancakes at Another Broken Egg
Egg dishes and chai tea latte at Cafe Fleur de Lis
Wings at We Dat Chicken and Shrimp
Garden district for pictures by architecture
Beignets at Cafe Beignet vs. Cafe Du Monde and Turtle ice cream at Kilwins (all on the same block)
Grilled shrimp po’ boy at NOLA po’ boys
Bruto (Espresso and chocolate) cookie at Willa Jean - I really wanted to try their peanut butter hot chocolate or biscuits or blueberry cobbler, but we were full and had to head out to our flight
Also, things i wish we hit up: Creole Creamery for ice cream, mac’n’cheese at P&G restaurant, and acme oyster (make a reservation, the wait is long!)
Oysters, OMG! Acme or Felix. Sazarac at the Roosevelt Hotel.
