Hi everyone, I received an offer with GS (US), will be proceeding with background checks shortly. Any insights as to the information that needs to be provided ?
My employment and education dates and titles are solid, but I was laid off halfway through the interviews and haven't disclosed this to anyone within GS.

Thoughts on Citi's Leveraged Portfolio Group at the Analyst level? I'm curious if anyone has additional details on the group for an Analyst spot. Hello, I was recently let go from my firm for not being able to pass the series 10 exam. I passed the 9 and have my SIE, 7, and 63. Are there any jobs out there that require the 9 but not the 10? All the jobs I can find require them both but I’d like to use my 9. Thanks for any advice!

Hello! I’ve been in Compliance now Dow approx 6 years and want to make myself marketable. Besides a JD what other masters can I obtain?

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Currently working at an IRA with great WLB. Honestly I love my job, the firm, and people I work with.

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.
