I’ve been approved for a transfer to the AUS office. Early 30s couple, no kids, small dog. Wife will work for the state but doesn’t have an office assigned yet. Looking for a SFH (that isn’t soullessly modern) in the 600-700k range that will suit our interests: walk to a grocery store, maybe a restaurant or two, commute to work in <30 min. Ok so I was in a job search support group today and the issue came up about one's aims when job hunting. They tell me it's not about me it's about what the employer wants.

Thing is for me it *IS* about me. The employer is just a vehicle for me to have the lifestyle I want. Why can't we be real about why we want a job? I am a Business Analyst
I worked in the same org for 5.5years and switched in march 2022. I was not allocated a project for 3 months hence changed the org and joined new in July 2022. Now its been 4 months and I am on bench here too with no project proposals coming in. Will it be a good option to go for another switch in comparatively secured organization considering current recession?

After my HR round today, Hr called up and said that will move forward with the offer but approvals with higher management might take some time as there is a hiring freeze.
Do you think offer will be released? And how much time these approvals take ?

She mentioned at the end that they are definitely going to offer as all feedbacks are positive.
