Ok so I was in a job search support group today and the issue came up about one's aims when job hunting. They tell me it's not about me it's about what the employer wants.

Thing is for me it *IS* about me. The employer is just a vehicle for me to have the lifestyle I want. Why can't we be real about why we want a job? I want to be stimulated by what I do and be paid well. If a job isn't increasing my market value and doesn't pay well I'm gonna wanna to leave. What can I say, I'm a bad actress.

I am an AE moving to a PM role at my agency.

Since I will have the PM title, what is the roadmap for moving to FAANG (or similar) or SaaS digital end to end dev/implementation companies as a Technical PM/Senior PM/Program Manager?

I have 5 YOE in Account Management, 2+ of which are in heavy digital working with Dev, Digital PMs, and client tech/implementation teams.

I also have had some direct experience in PM and will be building those specific skills in my new role.

As an IT infrastructure i have been tagged un cognizant internal project to support the cognizant owned datacenters VMs and infrastructure.

Just found out I didn't get an offer for a role I thought I was fairly qualified for and was looking forward to moving. Feeling bummed that I don't have what it takes for the role and company.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. Why is it that a lot of couples I know living in big cities are in open relationship?

Unwise to offer no appraisal contingency? Going to offer above asking price on a house with multiple bids. Realtor suggested potentially foregoing appraisal contingency to show we’re committed to closing. We have a lot of cash but wouldn’t it be a red flag if the house doesn’t appraise for the full value?
