Got a rejection mail from DTDL for a SSE role. Well, was my third try in this org, each time I got an average feedback. No matter how the interview went, good or bad. I guess, iss janam mein toh nhi hona hai yaha par. Accha ya bura, pta nahi.

How are folks handling the address on your business cards? I recently took my first officially remote position. I'm in the same region as one of the company offices, but not especially close and not officially associated with it.

Are folks just not putting an address on their cards? Nearest office address? Company HQ address?

Hey everyone - I could do with some advice. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am having a hard time getting interview calls. I am trying to pivot from consulting to the industry and targeting project/program management roles. How is productivity measured for in-house attorneys? Is there any analog of billable hours for in-house lawyers?

Outside counsel has been prepping company witnesses for a trial in August. It is my subject area so I am supervising outside counsel. I did not, however, choose the counsel. He is doing a really awful job. Co counsel is better, but not great either. Higher ups love the firm… I do not want to micromanage, but I have genuine concerns about outside counsel’s ability to try this case. Trials are rare, and I just don’t think these guys have actually tried many cases. Cont. below…

Was walking back home from the gym which is 1.5 miles. Particularly tired on the given day with extreme leg ache. I wished for a knight in shining armor to pick me up and carry me home. Obviously.....

I was hired to manage the maintenance program, only to get here and physically do the work. 2 years later and being on-call daily but still expected to burn both ends of the candle and it does seem good enough for the corporate leadership. Collapsed this past Thursday at work and rushed off to the hospital only to find out that it was a stress induced panic attack. Come back to work on Monday only to find that my work load was added to. What will it take?
