I am sorry you missed me because I was refueling on coffee. Appreciate your concern about my well-being. I was actually looking for you as well and could not find you. Would you mind stopping by my desk when you have a moment? Appreciate you!
Cc: everyone and their mother
YASSSS 🔥🔥🔥
That’s interesting because I’ve been here since x time, in fact I didn’t realize you were coming in
Today — are you here ?
At first it caught me really off guard so I just replied “I am in the office” and got a response “thank you. Must have been a miscommunication” so I replied back “feel free to communicate with me directly next time so we can avoid any miscommunication and false assumptions :)”

Well first, good on you for actually showing up to the office. Second, blast them with hourly accounts everyday of what you do for the rest of your week or even month, cc yourself so they think you are documenting your work for HR. They will stop caring soon enough.
You may want to talk to HR to prevent any confusion, moving forward and clarify to them that you’re active in the office and what your intentions are. You don’t want this circling back between your manager manager and HR.
Time to start documenting - this and every interaction.
This actually happened to me once. I was required to work in the office but my manager, HR, and other employees were never there. It’s ridiculous, so many of us can work better from home but companies are forcing people to return to the office. I believe it’s because they have to have a reason to pay rent on their office spaces. I like hybrid opportunities with flexible days in the office. I wish it would just stay that way.
We are hybrid that’s the thing. But they require 3 days in office. Meanwhile neither are going to be “compliant” with their 3 days since neither have shown up all week because their sick
You could video record a walk around the office from where you sit to where they are (supposed to be ) and send it to them 😂 saying you stopped by their cube/office and didn’t see them anywhere… ask when they’ll be back as you’d like to drop by for an in-person chat
That’s the entire point of the video- proof
I am so sorry this is happening to you
Did they actually ask if you planned to "wth" and not "wfh"? I would have told them how inappropriate that language is in a professional setting. I would have also told both of them to stop by when they have a chance, so they can put their lunch order in.
They said wfh..WTH was a typo
Wow that’s crazy
I would’ve just responded, I’ve been here since my start time in the office. Maybe you missed me when I stepped away from my desk for a moment. They obviously have an issue with you and that’s just being plain petty trying to get you in trouble. I’ve had a similar situation and I choose to ignore them most of the time
