Layoff going on in Synechron ?
I was in the final stages of an interview with Microsoft two weeks ago, in partner marketing. Then the recruiter told me they were putting the hiring process on hold to assess the need for the role. Well, then we heard about Microsoft layoffs last week. Seems like most were in Xbox and Project Alpha but there’s not a lot of information out there. Should I hold out any hope that I’m going to get this job? Any insights on how much these layoffs have impacted the marketing org and/or new hiring?

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

The last two alone are probably 10-15k total. And that is without the pto payout or last paycheck
They did it on the 27th which was 1 day before the end of the month. Had a few friends deal with this and that’s when they normally do it because they can cut benefits and everything before the new month starts. I’m sorry OP, but your attitude is inspiring! I hope you find a job that you are happy with.

Hang in there. Let yourself wallow and feel this. Then remember that this doesn't determine your self-worth. It sounds like it wasn't a good fit. When you're done feeling this, be grateful that you're out of there and look forward to finding a place that IS a good fit
Never, ever, EVER tell anyone you were fired in a job interview unless you're asked specifically if your departure was involuntary. And then make it sound like you were laid off. You don't have to lie, but you don't have to volunteer that information either.

Had the interview yesterday. 4 hours and 6 people. Very intense. Will know decision by Friday. Now we have the anxiety of waiting... trust the process

OP, one detail of severance is that you’re legally still an employee (at most firms), and an employment verification would say that. Don’t say you’re unemployed unless that period is over- looks better to other companies
