Graduated with my second masters from Georgetown University and it’s been 6 months not being able to find a job in Healthcare Analytics.

Some won’t sponsor me, as I’m international - which I don’t even need for the next 3 years (nice to have but still). Some won’t consider me because I need clearance.

I would appreciate any advice (companies to look at, referrals, suggestions for resumes). It’s such a daunting process, and I’m losing hope.

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. So far I received offers from PwC India, Capgemini and Lexmark for Data Engineering.

More are in pipeline from KPMG GS, TechM, Accenture.

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐

Hi everyone am new to fishbowl and this is my first post so please bear with me.
I am in the phase of career transition from being a RF test Engineer/test engineer into the cybersecurity space and looking for hands-on training to hone new skills to prepare for real life job experience.

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.
