Manager+ usually, for senior all they care about is if you can manage below and meet deadlines.

Agree with D1. The more senior roles you apply for, the more technical questions you’ll get. But the questions would be more in the realm of your thoughts on particular developments in certain areas of tax law or maybe some tax structuring ideas in a given scenario. More high level rather than quoting legislation.
