Does anybody have any advice when applying to postings with many applicants and getting noticed? The company I am interested in is Figma, and though I reached out to a few technical recruiters after applying through LinkedIn, I am wondering if there might be something more I could do that maybe I’m not thinking about. Also along those lines, if anybody here works for figma I would love the chance to connect

Congrats! You should be proud of yourself for getting to that stage. Just remember that they invited you for a reason - because they think you have something to offer. Those guys don’t waste time on maybes. Go in, do what you’ve been doing and you’ll be fine. Don’t change what has worked so far to get you to this point - people can smell BS a mile away. And when you get it, come back and share your knowledge and insight with those looking to do the same. Go get it OP!
Great advice that I have admittedly forgotten during interviews
Humblebrag: yay~~~
Real talk: nooooooo
Love message from EY2! Good luck, OP! Really happy for you! And if it meant to be, and you do your best, great, if it doesn’t workout, that’s okay too!
Real talk: I am super scared that I'm going to screw this opportunity up. Aaaaaaaaargh
Congrats OP! I will say though I’ve done work at Google, and they are just people. All the ups and downs of any other company. Be everything that got you invited in the first place and you’ll be fine. Don’t be intimidated.
I interviewed there a few years back and I can guarantee you that it’s an accomplishment making it to that point. I made it all the way to final rounds and it was an amazing experience! Whether you’re applying for tech or non-tech, remember that you may have some more technical questions. If it’s like my interview, it was very conversational and they try to make you feel comfortable. Don’t be dissuaded if they are not looking at you; they type through the entire interview. Again, congrats! Most people never make it to the interview stage at all.
Good luck OP i just got invited to onsite, im getting nervous.
Hahahahahahahaha my man!
