If you switch from L visa to H visa, how does the year count work. Is the year count for the H visa independent of the prior L? Such that you have 6 more years on the h visa?

I am trying to get into PWC. here are a few things I have heard so far. Is this fairly accurate?

1. PwC AC is offshore counterpart of PwC US. Good salary. No travel opportunities. Average yearly hike ~10% Mostly technical work.
2 PwC India is a pure consulting firm. Salary better than PwC AC. client facing work. Can grow as a management consultant. Great Travel opportunities.

I was selected 2 weeks ago and interview process was fairly fast, 5 interviews in 4 days. So I was expecting offer letter just after selection E mail.
