I know I took out the loans and I should repay them and I’m normally fiscally conservative and against giving out free money. But I am hoping student loans get completely cancelled. It would greatly boost the economy if people do not have them hanging over their heads. I have been selected at citi but HR is unable to release offer letter. This is because I have worked for citi as contractor or consultant in past but I don't remember my SP ID or GP ID which Citi provides to its temporary employees. HR is checking my SP ID or GP ID which was allocated to me in the past but I don't recall it is. HR is checking this with US team and this process is taking time. If they cannot extract it due to some reason, will they release my offer letter? Please clarify this.

I recently had an interview with cognizant..HR DIScussed salary and role and told me that I will expect the offer letter in 2-3 days. But it's been 18 days, i did not hear anything from their end..Hr is not picking up my calls . 7 days ago she replied on my email that I will get my offer letter soon..after that no response.
Will they consider me? Is it sure I will get my offer letter?

I have completed my interview round with cognizant...they told like it was good and they are ok with me and the hr will contact me in few days...which means am selected right ? If selected how much should I ask ( Current CTC is 5lpa 2.1 yr of experience)
