TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

I’m right there with you! Love my job, love my kids but so fricken tired. I’m barely able to keep my eyes open on the train and it’s only Monday. Jam packed weekend trying to catch up on work I didn’t finish last week and managing my littles around that. I don’t have great advice but things I try to do: get away a few times a year to recharge, fall asleep early with the kids from time to time, outsource everything I can like house cleaning and I share the load with my husband 50/50. I also try to stay very organized at work and at home to reduce stress and anxiety. I find if my world has order I can maintain my super powers without a nervous breakdown! LOL
I go to sleep when my kids do and wake up an hour before they do to watch keeping up with the kardashians
Don’t get me wrong. I like my job and love my kiddos. But I am just. So. Tired. All. The. Time.
Tips/advice?
I go to bed with my daughter every night. The lack of me time definitely sucks. But I honestly don’t know how I’d function without doing that. One night I stayed up until about 11 watching tv and spent the next day lamenting to my husband about how I “shouldn’t have been a hero” 🤣🤣
No advice, but just offering my solidarity. Have two little ones (including a baby who is up multiple times a night), and I’m exhausted too. I used to burn the candle at both ends in a different way when I was younger, but this way is way more mentally and physically draining! I agree with VP1 on outsourcing house cleaning, yard upkeep (if applicable), etc. it helps immensely. I also try to do the grocery shopping and plan of what’s for dinner that week on sundays. Granted, there are many weeks when that doesn’t happen, but when it does it makes a world of a difference. Hang in there! Like PM 1 says - one day soon the kids will be older and it will get easier and we may even miss these times 😜
Go to bed when the kids do if you’re able. I know it sucks not to have “me” time, but it will help so much with the fatigue.
Total solidarity here. And I agree with outsourcing what you can. Even if the folks hired don't do as good of a job as you could, you're saving your time and sanity. No guilt. ... I'm posting to share feedback AND as a reminder to myself 😬
Husband gets up on Saturdays, I sleep in and then he naps when our little one naps midday. Opposite for Sundays. We make no morning commitments (even though everyone else is in soccer class etc) and try to use the weekend to catch up as much as humanely possible. But yeah... we’ll be tired for the next 10 years, basically
I started following everyone’s advice to go to bed earlier. Yeah, it definitely helps. 🤦🏻♀️ and I think I may have been sick this weekend, feeling better now. Sometimes when I’m tired, I just get complainy - it’s not a good trait. Thanks for all the solidarity. 👊
Seconded on the blood panel - same exact boat post-kid, CCO1. And then I just imagine how tired I’d be if I was a SAHM.
The kids will get older and you will eventually be able to get more sleep.
I fell asleep yesterday at 8:30. Being a mom and a full timer in advertising is no joke. Just imagine having twins (I have twins.)
Going to bed at 9:30, lights out at 10. Definitely sucks because no time to do anything personal but not toooo tired.
Agree that going to sleep early helps. We also get groceries delivered when possible and amazon knows me wayyy too well Try some b and d vitamins during the day and magnesium at night. It really helps. Also- I was so tired that I knew it was excessive even with having a baby and working a lot. Ended up getting my levels checked and found out I was hypothyroid with some other hormone issues. Your body can really change after kids so I always recommend getting your full blood panel done. I’m still tired but medicine does help. Hope you get rest soon
