Guys… need your suggestion I recently joined BT in FP&A profile (2 months back) and now they’ve rejigged the whole team and put me in RTR. I’ve discussed with my manager but it seems this move way beyond him. Do you think I’ll be able to move back to FP&A in next 6 months. I don’t want to continue here for much longer. Really need professional advice here.

I’ve been in industries that allegedly have greater cause (healthcare) but was eventually disappointed by the corporate bureaucracy and went to a cutting-edge tech company for intellectual stimulation. I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions?
