Hey everyone! I'm a 24-year-old civil engineer with 4-5 years of experience. Currently focused on land development, but exploring other engineering projects. Wondering if I should pursue EIT/PE soon. Graduated with a tech degree in civil engineering. Making $65k p.a. + $45k from stock market. Started doing tattoos as a side hustle, could add $500/wk by year-end. Considering FE exam and investing in property. Seeking feedback on priorities. Thanks in advance for your insights

Congratulations on completing the degree program and joining the workforce.

If you see yourself in this field, I would highly recommend you get the EIT as soon as possible. Depending on the state where you’re applying, your specific state board may require additional years of experience before applying for PE.

These 2 certifications will help you grow professionally within the organization and also in the civil engineering industry

Thanks for your feedback. I think it’s important too as it’s more respected when you have those credentials, but at the moment I just started practicing my new side hustle as of two weeks ago, practicing it after work hours and weekends and I’m wondering how I would pursue studying too if I wanted too, idk if it’s something I should make time now or maybe a year or two from now.

Jesus loves you my friend

Hi
Would love to get your opinion on this-
I am planning on applying to business school this year in round 1 and round 2. I am in india working at D. I have received an offer to work with another big 4 in London as manager with their consulting team starting June. The role is definitely a step up in terms of responsibilities from my current role as a senior consultant. Do you think it might hamper my business school application changing jobs so close to round 1? Have been at D for 4 yrs

Let’s not have pride this year that is all about rainbow colors. Remember those who have lost their lives during the AIDS crisis, and the years they were ignored by the government and couldn’t get healthcare to save their lives. Same as what is happening today - those who are not privileged don’t have equal resources, or even access to healthcare. That’s why equality should matter for everyone. It’s not just a party, it’s to show that we’re still here and we will not give up.
