Are you looking to increase comp? Or is it more growth related?
Pro
I think either at this point. I'm content with my role but I really think I'm worth 10% more rn.
If they won't do the comp then I need to keep growing.

That’s a tricky place to be. Having a supportive manager is great, but honestly when a manager is very okay with you leaving, it might be a yellow flag that there isn’t much growth or long-term runway there. Doesn’t mean anything bad is imminent, but I’d probably take that as a sign to at least start looking around casually.

Great insight, I didn't think about it as a yellow flag but I probably should. I've been spiffing up my LinkedIn and browsing more job boards lately so maybe I'll amp it up a little.
Your manager is telling you that your growth is capped where you are currently at. If you want growth, you must leave.

I think you nailed it.
