I gave 4 rounds of interview for Manager 1 but the final decision was that I am unable to raise the bar. The recruitment coordinator asked me if he can keep my details or share my details to his colleagues so that they can check if I fit in some other role in future. Any idea about the cool off period?Amazon

Hi all, Recently i interviewed at Adobe for the post of computer scientist, Noida location. Had 5 technical rounds, but after that i didnt get any further response. One of HR called me and asked me to wait for a day or 2 last week, she gave me the reason that there are some issues going on in company. It's been 2 weeks now and i haven't got any response from them, i have been following up on mail and call, but there is no response either. What could be the reason ?? Any adobe folk out there ??

I used to work at Guidehouse and I left 2 months ago.
The culture was pretty good and the people very nice. It is a high performance culture, but it is not a sharp-elbow culture (yet!). There is no forced up or out. You can go as fast as you want career wise. The benefits, especially medical, was excellent IMO.
When Bain Capital bought Guidehouse the cultural vibe changed. It is hard to quantify culture, but change is palpable. What was extraordinary is now ordinary.
If you get in and are billable, you should be fine.
Thank you. This is what I needed. Much appreciated
Utilization is king. Any time on bench = find work or laid off. Limited support for anything not project related, including BD or tool development. Short term mindset. Hard to hold on to top performers as they are being picked off by competitors. Lots of new backfill, we'll see what that means for the culture and performance.
Good to know. Utilization sounded like no issue as the REQ was opened to help the HM
Leaving GH next week due to comp and growth issues. Overall decent place to work, very team and practice dependent. Pretty laid back compared to other places.
I got laid off from Guidehouse in March but before that I loved my job. Was in the D&S segment
Where are you a director at OP?
No. Ripple effect of DOGE.
Not for everyone but I’ve been here for 4 years and love it. So much opportunity for fast career advancement is have some experience and willing to put the work in.
Appreciate it. HM has been in 6 years and seems to be going strong.
