Had a trial shift yesterday for a national paper. It's a terrifying feeling to feel like you have to be perfect on the first day. I have had issues with these work a trial shift interviews because you have so much pressure on you.

I can understand that. Hopefully it went well! Remember to look at it as you are deciding if it’s the right fit for you, not just for the company.

Trial shifts shouldn't be a thing in the first place. There is no real way to gauge someone's work ethic or abilities on their first day when they're full of nerves in a completely new environment.

Situations like that do come with some pressure, but that's part of the trial. The work often involves pressure. And if people are trying to assess your fitness to handle the job, having you perform under pressure is just part of it.

Trial shifts are so intense. It feels less like showing your skills and more like being under a microscope. I always remind myself they asked me in for a reason. Did they give you any feedback afterwards?

I have been there, and I know how overwhelming it feels. Trial shifts feel like auditions where you cannot slip. What helps me is remembering they know you are learning, not already perfect.

Hi Folks,

I've got a job offer from a small IT company. But before releasing the offer letter, they want me to accept a terms and conditions form which has this 10th point as shown in picture. It states failing to join them will result in paying 2 months of salary that's around 130000 rs.

Is it for real? If I get a better offer somewhere else ane don't join them, will I really have to pay this to them? Please help friends. What should I do?
