I am Offered 29.5fixed by PwC for SA (L2). Currently on 25fixed. Should I join ? In terms of WLB.! My current employer on fishbowl shows Deloitte but have left Deloitte a year back. Currently in a firm with good WLB but PWFH is a big win for me that PwC is offering.
Any guidance or fist hand experience sharing is highly appreciated.

Number one reason would be 401k match?
“Because I love Boston"
Surprised you were asked it point blank. Usually we’re more creative
I need a job brah, and you guys are hiring.
BCG2 - I wanna be just like you when I grow up.
As you can tell we EYers care a ton about the 401K policy. Only because ours is $@&!
This should be the first question you are ready to answer in any interview...it’s really quite easy
‘Cos my first choice of sitting on my ass, and getting paid for nothing didn’t work out.
"I really enjoyed the town."
Congrats OP. People pretty open about what they want to get from this (temp) job, so as long as you didn’t say the 401(k) I’m sure it went fine
Yes I'm well aware - we have amazing benefits. And for that I am grateful. That being said it ranks pretty low on the list for why I wanted to join and for why I've been here for so long. But guess I shouldn't fault others for having different priorities.
EY3 - let's talk about how F$$$ up our 401K is in the EY bowl. OP is likely not interested in that right now.
Congrats on the interview OP 👍. Hope you get it.
No one really answered the question
No, you shouldn’t. When you grow older you will realize this mundane items like retirement benefits come very strong criteria. Of course if you don’t like the work you won’t last their very long to get 20 years of 401 benefits
Surviving in consulting has often to do with other factors than meritocracy. No matter how much i like work and culture there will be other factors beyond my control which will play pivotal role. Of survival in BCG could be different.
I also interviewed with BCG today. *high five* and good luck sir/madam!
Yeah @M2, this didn’t really go as planned. :/
Culture fit seems like the obvious and best choice. Not hard to personalize it either based on your perception of the company
Almost five years with Accenture, but 11 years total experience. L8 currently (also up for promo at ACN this year), but moving up a rung with the potential move to BCG as well.
To C1’s point, can someone actually take a stab at answering the question other than 401k benefits?
Doesn't that question have the same generic answer you would give to any firm.
