Job technically allows for WFH - take about one a month because of debillitating anxiety and depression flare ups. I actually work too - I just can’t be around people.

Can anyone recommend a therapist who uses a secular Buddhist, contemplative psychology or jungian psychology framework? I want to start seeing one but it’s hard to know where to go.

I was depressed last year, did therapy and on antidepressants and got completely better. But now I’m feeling depressed again, even though I’m still on antidepressants.

Anyone have any experience in coping with someone’s Narcissistic Personality Disorder? It’s my mother, and this has psychologically devastated me all my life, but I don’t know whether to keep trying or cut her out.

For years, I’ve been asking myself if I’m anxious/sad because I’m anxious/sad. Or if it’s a result of spending the majority of my life at an agency. Lately, I’m confident it’s the latter. Anyone else?

I’ve gotten to the final stage in interview process at 5 places now to be told no. First and second interviews at a bunch of other places too. Starting to really feel drained. So much work for nothing

I enjoy what I do but It’s ultimately not good for my anxiety. Making good work at a competitive agency seems to come at the cost of my mental health.

Friendly reminder that depression is a protected disability. File paperwork with your company and they legally cannot destroy your health by overworking you.

Dad had to get emergency open heart surgery over the weekend. Now me and my family are preparing to help him recover and determine what those next steps are.

While all that is happening, we’re working on a huge initiative at the agency and our client has been super anxious about it. That anxiety is coming down stream so I’m trying to do my best as the PM to alleviate the team’s concerns.

And today, I found out I got a raise.
