My lovely fish, small recommend for anyone suffering the anxiety, I was found to have chronically low vitamin D so am now on supplements after doing a kick start course. 6 months in - Hasn't gone away, but the impact has lessened greatly and the 'recovery time' is much quicker without so much drain after.

My boss went through the same thing and vitamin d helped her too!



Awesome! Apparently it's a hormone rather than a vitamin, so with that reframing you can see why it might make a difference!

I’ve been trying to get hold of this as information is not consistent. Do I need to have MOFA Attestation in addition to the UAE Embassy Attestation from home country or will that be managed by the company in UAE itself?

My therapist of 3+ years just told me that she’s going to stop taking insurance starting in January and her new rate will be $160 per session (right now I pay $45 for our weekly sessions). My insurance will not cover any of it.

I’m panicking. I struggle with depression and anxiety and my weekly sessions are what keeps me going (and meds!). I also love my therapist and she knows everything about me. I don’t want to start over but I also don’t know if I can afford $160 per session… what do I do?

Has anyone experienced blame shifting? In my romantic relationship we’re in sync 97% of the time but if I’ve constructive criticism, the dynamic flips, so I apologize to deescalate. Manager made it clear he isn’t happy with how I’ve been doing some of my work lately. His messages to me instantly brought up a whole mental can of worms. I felt myself physically having a panicked reaction, and I realize it’s bringing up issues I had with a past boss. How do I get past this? I have journaled, changed jobs, etc., but these same types of (micro)managers are everywhere, and I can’t keep quitting and moving agencies.
