Something like that isn't a matter of time, it's a matter of effort. You need to get serious about getting better at your delivery. Work on it and get some pointers from someone in your organization with more experience. You may need some professional voice training, but at this point you should try to improve on your own.
I suspect no one ever gets used to it. A fake it til you make it moment.
Honestly, you never really stop faking it. Even veterans rehearse their voice and presence constantly. If you wait to feel “natural,” you may never get there — the job is about performance, not authenticity.
Honestly, most of us never like the sound of our own voice. I still notice quirks when I watch playback, but the audience rarely picks up on them the way we do.
It takes time. Your “TV voice” feels fake at first, but the more you do it, the more natural it becomes. Authenticity comes from practice, not from forcing it.
