Happy Monday Professionals! Name something that you are looking forward to this week. For me, I am already looking forward to the weekend so that I can relax! Last week was grueling!

I don't even get to relax this coming weekend, or the next! This weekend I'm traveling to a friends house (3+ hours away) so we can watch a play his daughter is in. And then the next weekend, we will be hosting a bachelorette party. I tried to bow out of that, but I was voluntold for the DD position. Yay...fun... 🙄

Wow that’s a lot of work in the next upcoming weeks! Too bad about the DD part…

I know this isn’t a marriage therapy bowl, but my husband has a really terrible tendency of saying things like “you’re being really mean” and completely shutting down during a disagreement when i objectively am not being mean, just truthful or vocal about how i feel about something. It’s a really convenient argument for him because it enables him to either be the victim and me the villian, or forces me to concede my stance and not reach a true resolution. Any tips on dealing with the irrational?

Sharks and other fishes,
I need some career advice,
In my current company I think the development portion I've been given is kinda simple, I've asked my manager and seniors to level up my work and stuff, *which they did* but I kinda caught up.. now what should I do, should I ask them to level up again or look for better opportunities
Also, I had some Interest in CyberSecurity and I grinded it on my pre-final semester at Uni, should I try on that path as well or should I stick to development?

I’m 6 months pregnant and scheduled a 30 minute meeting to chat with my HR rep to talk about our parental leave benefits (specifically how to navigate taking additional, unpaid time)…. She declined the meeting and directed me to review the policy documentation online and email her with any specific questions I have. Is that normal? Feeling a bit unsupported but also not trying to overreact

It’s very discouraging to continuously receive these rejection emails. With 9 years of supply chain experience, I am not sure why I would not be able to at least get an interview for entry level roles that require no experience. Not just this one pictured but others as well. I’ve applied to maybe 60 positions since May, both mid level and “entry” and no interviews. I’ve had my resume professionally re-written twice. Not sure where the disconnect is. Anyone else going through this same thing?

Looking to get advice on two different job offers. I am only concerned about long term career prospects in choosing one or the other. Offer 1: warehouse manager for a beverage company. Offer 2: material distribution manager for an industrial equipment manufacturer. Again, only want input on future opportunities that each might provide. Thanks!

Any advice on how to correct my job search?
