Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

Soft shell all life. Lighter so it wastes less of the weight allowance. It takes less space in the room once opened because you don't have to lay both sides on the floor to get your stuff. Expandable if needed.
Rising Star
Soft shell. Looks less beat up after 10 years of traveling.
I find hard shell ones have less friction sliding on surfaces, which I like
And i suspect they are less susceptible to bedbugs, but that’s just a guess
I’m talking about hard shell plastic. Don’t know if the above is true for aluminum, don’t think I’ve handled one
soft is enough unless you will go mountaineering
Soft is great when you’re traveling to places with lots of stairs too.
Hard shell but make sure it’s a good quality hard shell, they’ll last you at least 10 years whereas cheaper quality can be less than 2. Delsey and Samsonite are good options
Away bag, rock solid and carries a ton. Soft sided allows for overpacking that a hard sided bag won’t
Aluminum - just feels more robust and nice not having a zipper. The scratches and dents give it more character too. I recommend the Lufthansa Aluminum collection.
Soft shell! I can squish more into it because it’s soft. Less banged up like MD1 says above.
Soft, fits on small regional jets, vs some hard shells won’t
Hard shell, gives turtle power
