Has any freelance producers felt like it’s a quieter month or two right now and not getting work? Been looking for work and have never had an issue before. But striking out. Starting to get a little nervous. Any tips? Thoughts? Would love to hear the longest you’ve ever been out from work freelancing.

Only a few of the engineers I've met have been antisocial, and it seems like such people are represented fairly evenly across different careers. I'm not really sure why that misconception still exists

Currently I'm working at TCS as an ITA. Recently I got an offer from VMWARE. Can any one please advise me if it is a good time to join VMWARE or not ? I'm asking this question because as you know VMWARE has been recently acquired by Broadcom AND Broadcom does not have a good past on its previous acquisitions like CA and Symantec!!

Desi folks - question on travelling outside US while you're on L1B visa. I have my valid visa stamp till 2022. Do any of you know if we can travel to India in Dec and come back in Jan? Day rate v. Hourly I currently accepted a rate for 20 hours a week, which I don’t like doing because I always end up working more. How do you define your hours in these instances and make it known that they aren’t paying you to be available all day long?

I am booked at an agency that is filled with toxic people and I got offered a freelance job at a really great agency. I am two weeks into a four week booking but they said that usually keep freelancers on for a really long time. Right now I am only working on edits. Do you all think it would be OK to tell the agency that I’m currently at that I’m going to leave for another booking or is that really bad?
