Has anybody flown out of JFK and used Clear + Global Entry / TSA Pre check to save time? How was the experience? Do I understand correctly that Clear will help me cut the line to security screening, and that global entry will allow me not to take off my shoes, belt, laptop there? TIA!

Correct on both. I have never spent more than 5 minutes going thru security screening with both Clear & Pre-check.

like

clear is a front of the line pass. it will be either the front of the line of regular TSA or precheck if you have global entry/TSA precheck. the appropriate rules apply which ever line you end up in.

Thank you both. I just know that JFK terminal 4 is literally the worst terminal in the whole country in terms of crowds. Got Amex Platinum with both Global Entry and Clear covered lol

A concern for me, as well.. I think it is either eye scan or fingerprint though

Can we just walk-in for Global entry interview at JFK/EWR airports?I got my application accepted but cannot find any appointments till Dec-2022.Any other tips to expedite.
FYI-I am currently on TSA-Pre that’s expiring in a month.
Thanks

It’s worth a try on a less congested day. I had to wait for 3 month to get an appointment in midwest

Hi everyone! First time using this app. I always wondered, how are other IT help desk jobs? I’ll share how mine is.
I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. I make around 50k which is alright but its hectic as there’s too many tickets and not enough personnel. I heard this is common but I’m not sure.

I started a new job recently and then had my PTSD seriously triggered, plus a panic attack. Felt so on edge and low on emotional resources for over a week that I wasn’t myself and apparently really rubbed a few people the wrong way so I was called in for a talking to 😣. I let people know there were some personal things going on, but didn’t mention the PTSD—very unsure if that’s something to share, or if I’d be judged for it or... I don’t even know. Has anyone else dealt with PTSD and had it impact them at work, and how did you handle it?

Company on track for 22 goals. Traditionally included 2% profit sharing at YE, this year however comes with a unique caveat.

The CEO added a qualifier, to be eligible for the payout one must agree to and sign a binding arbitration agreement. In the CEOs email to staff he indicates these agreements are standard in most companies and typically required for new hires.

I’m curious to get insight from others. Is this standard practice and generally required for new hires? Something feels off.
