We are a small firm with less than 5 attorneys.
The compensation level for our calibre of firm is quite low but this is mainly to do with lack of adequate cash flow.
We have started weekly billing meetings to remind staff of their targets and encourage income but the meetings are often poorly attended and the explanation for low billing is always the same, attorney did not get to the work.

We have a fee share agreement that is not based on profit. Once you bill and recover the monies we split
